My name is Ray Hadley. Up until December 2024, I was a broadcaster. And after 43 years, and having turned 70 in September, I decided it was time to pull the curtain down on the career and do other things.

You’ve got to go with trusted brands. So I think when you’re looking at it, you’ve got to go with the seasoned developers that have delivered on their promises. And Mulpha is one of those companies. Mulpha has always finished what they start.

I like the style of the apartment, particularly at Lacebark, that’s why I chose it. I like the way that the people dealt with me. And because I’d dealt with them previously at Essentia, I was confident that what they told me would be true, and that’s found to be the case as well.

The single-level living attracted me. So, I looked around at various places, and I came back to Norwest. You’ve got the rail link through the Metro just up the road. You’ve got shops, you’ve got doctors’ facilities, you’ve got restaurants, you’ve got a whole range of other things.

The golf club that I’m a member of is 150 metres from the back gate of the development, which means I can walk up there and have a game of golf and walk back home.

Walks around the lake, which is opposite both Banksia and Lacebark, the friendly atmosphere, the traders, the cafés, it’s a really, really good place to live, and it’s only going to get better because there are plans to make things even bigger and better in terms of what the shopping centre will be in the future.

Mulpha seems to have a policy of ensuring a gap between you and the next apartment. There’s green space, which is really important. It’s nice to walk around in pleasant conditions. And that’s something I’ve noticed since I moved here, that those areas are all maintained by Mulpha.

And as this particular part of Solent Circuit develops, and more Mulpha buildings come in, I’m confident that the plans they have for the future will match the plans they have at the moment.

At the end of the day, it’s convenient, it’s friendly, it’s a good place to live.
